Serving The Community
I am excited to work for Brighton residents to bring your unique and diverse voices to City Council. I want to balance small business and growth, bringing jobs into our community while preserving the local businesses that make it truly special. I want to bring in more affordable homes, as well as disability-forward housing solutions. I will make every effort to keep our families and community safe through traffic improvement and supporting the efforts of those keeping drugs off our streets.

Working Together
Listening to you. Over the next year, the City Council is formulating their Comprehensive Plan. This is a long range vision for Brighton. It is an excellent time to express your opinions about what you love or what you want improved about our city. I want to hear from you.
Growth. Ward 3 will grow faster than any other Ward in the near future. Engage in the process with me and help make your community what you/your family needs.
Stewardship. As a part of the Comprehensive Plan we will be focusing on affordable housing, farming, meeting our water needs, preserving downtown, serving our elderly, improving the walkability of Brighton, expanding amenities and improving and planning main traffic arteries to shopping and businesses. I want to help move these ideas forward in a timely and financially responsible way. I currently work as Operations Manager for a Bio Remediation Company. Under my leadership we became the 3rd highest earning franchise in the nation. I was raised BY hard-working parents to BE a hard-working parent and will bring that same ethic to city management.

My wife and I have 10 adult children, including one with special needs. We also have a rapidly growing number of grandchildren that bring us joy. We have enjoyed education, recreation, employment, worship, and service here in Brighton. I want to give back and serve. Please cast your vote for me, Kevin Forsyth!
